Caramel Corn Version One

Ingredients

12 cups popped corn

1 cup brown sugar

2 tablespoons vinegar

1/2 cup light corn syrup

2 tablespoons butter

1/2 cup water

Directions

Cook to hard ball stage. Add 1/2 teaspoon soda, then stir and pour over corn. Stir well and bake on cookie sheet at 250 degrees for 30 minutes, stirring every 5-10 minutes. Let cool and break apart.
